Art glass is designed, hand cut, layered and fired in a kiln.  The temperatures at which I fire the glass is determined by how much texture I desire in the piece.  The lower the fusing temps the more texture that remains with the glass.  Higher firing temperatures yield smoother more homogenous results.  The stands displaying the glass are hand built from steel with some bases cut from repurposed granite and marble.
